In the Mirpur district of Dhaka and in the flood-affected chars of Sylhet, there are thousands of children who have lost one or both parents. Many live with elderly grandparents or aunts and uncles who struggle to meet their basic needs. Many more live in informal care arrangements that are fragile, unmonitored, and at risk of breaking down.

The Amanah Orphan Care Programme partners with Noor Foundation Bangladesh to provide comprehensive support to 400 orphaned children, with plans to expand to 600.

What $25 per month provides:

• Three nutritious meals per day
• School fees, uniform, books, and stationery
• Healthcare: vaccinations, doctor visits, dental check-ups
• Safe housing within family-style home or with supported family carers
• Quran lessons and Islamic education
• Psychological support and mentoring from trained staff

What $100 per month provides:

All of the above, plus vocational training for older children and a savings account started in the child's name for when they turn 18.

Every sponsor receives a profile of their sponsored child (with appropriate privacy protections), quarterly updates on the child's progress, and an annual photo. You will know your child's name, age, favourite subjects, and dreams for the future.
