Test Campaign

The “Light Upon Light” donation campaign was launched by a local Muslim community with the aim of expanding their neighborhood masjid and supporting families in need before Ramadan. What began as a small gathering after Jumu‘ah prayer soon became a united effort involving brothers, sisters, and youth from across the community.

Volunteers organized charity dinners, Qur’an recitation evenings, and educational programs to raise awareness about the project. The campaign focused not only on collecting donations, but also on reminding people of the virtue of ṣadaqah and helping others for the sake of Allah. Children contributed from their savings, business owners pledged weekly support, and many families volunteered their time to prepare meals and distribute aid packages.

As the weeks passed, the community raised enough funds to renovate the prayer area, improve classroom spaces for students, and provide food baskets for struggling households. More than the financial success, the campaign strengthened the bonds between community members and reminded everyone of the blessing of cooperation upon goodness and taqwā.
